Dandelion Gallery Presents Kim Rahal as featured artist June 21, 2014.

This is an interactive art show inviting the public to join the artist to paint a large colorful abstract painting. Kim will start painting at 5:00PM and work throughout the evening. Kim Rahal will also be introducing her latest concept "Evil lil flowers" flowers with an attitude! They are waiting for you to come discover them! Kim is an artist who has been creating art since she was a small child. She works on 2D surfaces in mediums ranging from pastel to oil paints. Kim's featured show will represent a body of work she has been working on for the last year.
Her paintings are ranging in size from 6" x 6" to 4FT x 5FT. Kim is known for her large colorful abstract paintings and this show is filled with them.
As a fun bonus to this interactive art show, Kim is offering to give away free mugs with her...

Please join us at Lemon Street Gallery for an evening of art, friendship and fun! Kim Rahal is sharing a year of art that tells her story of survival! She is working with a new painting technique she developed while working in her favorite medium oil paints! She will have 3D art, large artwork 6ft x 4ft and small matted paintings 8" x 10" as well as some fun magical boxes with special messages inside, not to mention the paintings that show a reflection inside! Hi Everyone,
Please check out this fun project I am involved in, they did an interview with me and it is featured this week in the libraryasincubatorproject.com website. I have joined a talented group of artists to illustrate how libraries have impacted our lives by creating these fun cigar boxes. I hope you read it, enjoy the interview and read the others as they come out. There will be an artist opening in Racine, Wisconsin Feb. 1st 5PM-9PM at the Racine Library and you are invited to come see these wonderful boxes created by some really great talent in Kenosha, WI. I really enjoyed creating the two boxes I did and hope you be delighted with the others artist’s interpretation of the project. It really did turn out amazing and I am sure you will be thrilled with them as I was!

I am so honored to have my work in their beautiful gallery; the evening will be filled with music, art and great people. Please come see my latest works based on a poem titled "missing pieces" this will be a combination of realism and abstract bringing both of my worlds together. Kim Rahal is an artist who has been painting and showing her work for over 20 years.
She has shown and sold her work in Illinois, Colorado, California, Virginia and Wisconsin. Best known for her color saturated abstract paintings; Kim uses her art to express emotion and her view of the world. “Abstracts allow me to express a feeling or an emotion. I prefer to work in oils because of the rich texture and deep colors of the paint. I am very attracted to contrast and light”. At the BYO Studio, in Milwaukee, WI Kim is sharing a new series of paintings which she has been working on for the past 12 months. Detailed and symbolic, the “Earth, Wind, Water and Fire” series, offers an exciting 3D unique view of the elements that surround us. KENOSHA, WISCONSIN, July 11th 2009: Kim Rahal will be featured artist in an exhibit at The Pollard Gallery. The public is invited to join her at 514 56th ST. Kenosha, Wisconsin 53140 for an opening reception from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. There will be refreshments and live music.
